On top of this, I also rigged the more complex characters myself, and designed and drew character assets as needed. And I individually checked over every rig before it was delivered to Scene Planning. I made sure that notes from the Director were carried out. I instructed my team how to approach their rigs, guided them as they completed them, troubleshot issues with them and made certain the characters remained on model and on style. I trained staff who had never rigged before. In this role, I lead a team of riggers in creating over 400 character rigs that were easy to animate with, while allowing for a large range of articulation and movement, letting animators work quickly while creating quality, intricate animation. I was the Rigging Supervisor for 12Field Animation’s 11 minute x 26 episode television series called The Strange Chores.

I was assigned several of their more complex characters to rig, for which I completed the rigs according to the predetermined layout. I fixed already completed rigs, by optimizing them, reducing their limitations and making them easier for the animators to work with.
While working for Pixel Zoo, I completed rigs for the Moose Toys web series called Goo Jit Zu. I am leading Kapow’s Rigging team, creating character rigs for an unannounced project.
